Don’t Miss The Exciting Cape Town Spectacles This Jan/Feb 2010!!!

Question: What do you get when you say ‘Cape Town’ & ‘2010’ together?

Answer: FIFA SOCCER WORLD CUP 2010!!!!

But there’s still time for that (149 days to be precise).

So does that mean all you folks out there bitten by the Cape Town travel bug think there’s nothing exciting in the Mother city till June?

Of course not! Cape Town is anything but dull.

And to prove it to you, we’ve charted out activities that will entertain you, exhilarate you & basically leave you with incredible eternal memories.

Let’s begin this wonderful ride with the same zest & spirit that’s induced by President Jacob Zuma’s quote -
"The year 2010 must be the year in which for the first time, we all communicate positive messages about our country to the world – the successes and possibilities."

FEBRUARY

It’s still hot & windy so spend all your free time (in case you do get a moment to catch your breath!) at the sunny, sandy beaches.

Work on your tan, lounge at any of the scores of fab beaches & catch the ‘sundowners’ at some of the hottest spots in Cape Town!

Check out ‘Wafu’ for mouth-watering sea food or the upscale, swanky Leopard Room Bar for breath-taking sunsets. Or just head over to the Lion’s Head if you’re short on the greens and enjoy one of the most amazing sunsets of your life.

But if the sweltry heat has you all sunburnt and parchy, then the Cape Town vineyards are the perfect place to relax, cool down and make some scenic memories too while your at it.  Constantia Valley or Stellenbosch or Paarl & Wellington -  many choices, all good – take your pick.

If you havn’t scheduled anything for 5th Feb yet, then Club Newlands Sleepover 2010 is your best bet. Put up a tent in the Rugby Stadium, enjoy a scrumtipous meal of “braai” & bring the kids for a totally unique experince. Take home free souvenir Tees, goodybags and lots of memories.

Moving onto the ‘Cape Town Pride Festival’ (26  Feb – 7 March) - take out those huge shades and mingle with 5000+ people as they dance on the streets in the “gay” capital of Africa – Cape Town.
