Between the islands of Geyser Rock and Dyer Island is a narrow, shallow channel called Shark Alley - reputed to be the best place in the world for Great White Shark cage diving. Due to the 60 000 strong Cape Fur Seal colony in the area, this notorious ally has been dubbed ‘the McDonalds Drive-thru for the Great White shark’.
It’s a short trip to Shark Alley from the Shark Zone base in Gansbaai, providing adrenaline junkies the perfect opportunity to get up-close-and-personal with the Great Whites. The good news is that no diving certificate is needed to venture into the cage, just a good healthy sense of adventure!
For the not-so-adventurous, incredible sightings of the sharks can be viewed from the comfort of the boat. Great Whites are surface feeders, not to mention curious, which provides many ideal photographic opportunities as they glide graciously through the water in close proximity to the boat.

On board, accompanied by our qualified and friendly crew, you will find refreshments as well as all the necessary equipment needed to ensure that your face to face encounter with the oceans most feared predator is one that will exhilarate and thrill. Qualified divers can arrange for scuba gear if preferred, either way your experience will be one you will never forget.
