WORLD OF BIRDS – MONKEY PARK

Largest Bird park in South Africa in a tropical garden setting. Located in Hout Bay. Over 3000 birds and 400 different species. Kids have the possibility to have direct contact with little monkeys. The park is one of Cape Town’s premiere tourist attractions and has approx 100 000 visitors annually.

BUTTERFLY WORLD

A unique attraction in the Cape Town Winelands. Families can enjoy free flying colourful butterflies in an enclosed garden. The park is located at the junction of the Paarl / Stellenbosch Wine route. Definitely worth to visit

Aquarium Cape Town – V&A Waterfront

In the Two Ocean Aquarium you get to know more than 88 species / 3000 animals. Explore the beautiful and colourful world of the oceans. The Two Ocean Aquarium also offers the unique opportunity to scuba dive with ragged tooth sharks.

RATANGA JUNCTION

This massive theme Park is open all year round and offers more than 30 attractions including 23 rides for the entire family. The park is located only a 10 min drive from the Cape Town City centre. One- off entry fee has to be paid

SCRATCH PAD

At the Scratch Pad Mineral world kids can enjoy ‘scratching’ through a wide variety of tumble polished gemstones. South Africa is often considered as the gemstone capital of the world. Almost half of the worlds gemstone are found in South Africa. The Scratch Pad Mineral world is a must for visitors with kids. You can find an outlet in the V&A Waterfront and in Simonstown.

MONKEY TOWN

Entertainment for the whole family. Located east of Sommerset west, the Primate Centre is home to over 200 primates. The primates roam free whilst visitors can view them from an enclosed walkway. The sanctuary offers guided tours, a play park, a touch farm yard and a restaurant.

IMHOFF FARM

The Farm is open 7 days a week and offers a great range of outdoor activities. You can enjoy guided horse and camel beach rides on Noordhoek beach, visit the reptile sanctuary or try paintballing. The Imhoff Farm is Home to some very friendly farm animals – including goats, pigs, sheep, ducks, geese, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs and a pony – Higgeldy Piggeldy Farmyard is a fun-filled favourite with visitors to Imhoff.

CAPE TOWN PLANETARIUM

Educational and fun shows for adults and children - explore space and learn . Inside the domed auditorium, we can recreate the night sky, so whatever the weather outside, the Planetarium sky is always clear, an extraordinary audio-visual experience for old and young.

BLUE TRAIN Mouille Point

On the Mouille Point beach promenade you can find Cape Towns only miniature train. The train exists for over 50 years and enjoys a big popularity. A great deal of joy and fun for children

Splash Swimming is a swimming education centre based at Wynberg Girls' Junior School's enclosed and heated 25m training pool in Cape Town's Southern Suburbs.
