CAPE TOWN WINE ESTATES

The Winelands are divided into various regions. If you are a wine lover or not, a visit in the Winelands is an absolute must if you visit Cape Town. The Cape Winelands is the largest wine producing region in South Africa and is divided into six main wine regions, each offering their own unique wine route.

Constantia , Stellenbosch , Franschhoek , Paarl , Robertson and Wellington are the most popular.

Stellenbosch is the most famous wine destination and is only a 45 min drive away from the Cape Town city centre.

For your convenience we have listed a selection of wine farms below.

SPIERS

The wine farm offers stunning views of the Helderberg mountain range and produces top quality wines. Tastings are offered at the Wine Shops. Farm visits can be arranged on Wednesday afternoons. Enjoy an award winning wine followed by a special dinner in the restaurant Moyo. Open daily for lunch from 12h00 – 16h00 and for dinner from 18h00 – 23h00. Visitors of Spiers can engage with cheetahs at their facilities on the estate or can visit the eagle rehabilitation centre. Definitely worth a visit
